A LIFE BUILT AROUND THE MOUNTAINS.
I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, where climbing wasn't part of the world I had access to. Even then, I felt drawn to the mountains and finding my way into them opened up a life I never knew was possible.
Eight years into guiding, that experience still shapes my work. I want to help you take on objectives that excite you, challenge you, and sometimes feel just outside your reach, whether that means rock climbing, alpine climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, or an expedition. Together, we’ll build toward the experiences that matter to you.
BIG OBJECTIVES. PERSONAL APPROACH.
Every climber brings something different to the mountains: different experience, different ambitions, different reasons for being there. I want to know yours.
Maybe you’re working toward a long-awaited summit, stepping into technical terrain for the first time, or building the skills to become a more independent climber. Wherever you’re starting, my job is to meet you there, bring the technical knowledge and experience to support your goals, and help create an experience that feels meaningful to you.
I’m serious about good decisions, thoughtful instruction, and doing things well. I’m also a firm believer that a day in the mountains should leave room for laughter, good conversation, and a little bit of personality.
SMALL GUIDE. BIG OBJECTIVES.
I’m a five-foot-tall Filipina and queer woman with big ambitions, a deep love for the mountains, and plenty to say about life beyond them. My identity, community work, and storytelling shape how I see the outdoors: as a place where people can feel more free, discover what they’re capable of, and build a sense of belonging.
That perspective follows me into my guiding. I want you to feel supported in pursuing your goals, comfortable being yourself, and proud of what you accomplish out there.
